Make Them Stop You, Sarah Schulman
Meet & Greet
Lafayette Anticipations9 rue du Platre 75004 PARIS To mark the translation of Girls, Visions and Everything by Héloïse d’Ormesson and the publication of Solidarité: entre fantasme et nécessité by B42, Sarah Schulman reflects on a body of work in which fiction, social critique and political activism intertwine.
A leading figure in New York’s literary and activist scene since the 1980s, Sarah Schulman has been exploring the links between writing, collective memory and solidarity for over thirty years.
Over the course of an evening, she reflects on these two dimensions of her work – the novel and the essay – during a discussion with the author and curator Salomé Burstein, offering an insight into how fiction and political thought feed off one another.
